Born in Vietnam, Tina embarked on a life-changing journey when she along with her siblings and mother immigrated to America in 1993 at the tender age of 12 to reunited with her father. Despite the challenges of not knowing the language, Tina dove headfirst into learning English, driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to succeed.
Her dedication paid off when she graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a Business Finance Degree, a milestone that marked the beginning of her remarkable career journey. Tina’s career path led her to the world’s largest retail pharmacy, where she spent a decade honing her skills as a store manager. Alongside her corporate endeavors, Tina also pursued her passion for beauty, owning and managing her own successful beauty salon for ten years.
As life unfolded and her family grew, Tina recognized the need for a more flexible schedule. In 2013, she transitioned into the real estate industry, quickly establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with. In 2019, fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit, Tina launched her own real estate brokerage Golden Pen Realty, empowering others to achieve their dreams of homeownership.

Not content with just running her business, Tina also became a Real Estate instructor, sharing her expertise and knowledge with aspiring professionals. In 2023, Tina launched Golden Pen Property Management in response to growing demand from customers and investors in North East Florida. With a focus on strategizing, customizing, and maximizing returns for investors, Tina’s company offers tailored property management solutions. With her years of experience and commitment to excellence, Tina ensures that every client receives top-notch service and exceptional results. Golden Pen Property Management is quickly becoming the go-to choice for investors seeking reliable and efficient property management in the region.

Tina’s impact extends far beyond the boardroom. with a heart for community service, she dedicated her spare time to volunteering, serving on the board of the Vietnamese Association of Jacksonville from 2014 to 2021, including a term as Vice President. In 2019, Tina founded “Phamily Pantry Inc.,” a non-profit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged children in her community. Her commitment to community service also led her to serve as Treasurer for the Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board from 2017 to 2019. In 2023, Tina further solidified her role as a leader within the Asian American community by founding the Asian Chamber of North Florida, where she currently serves as President.

Despite her busy schedule, Tina finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it’s cooking up a storm in the kitchen, gliding across the dance floor with all the ballroom dances, or exploring new destinations with her two beautiful children, Andrew and Ai-Lien, Tina embodies the spirit of a supermom. Her children affectionately regard her as a superhero, capable of giving the best backscratches and worthy of competing on Iron Chef.

Tina’s journey from immigrant to entrepreneur and community leader embodies resilience, dedication, and humility. Although Tina has been recognized for many achievements, she remains humble and committed to learning and sharing her passion for volunteering. With her unwavering spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence, Tina continues to inspire others to dream big, work hard, and make a difference in the world.
