Community Outreach Co-Chair

My name is Sophal Archard, I moved down from Rhode Island in the year 2000 and have resided in Jacksonville ever since. Retired Navy wife to a wonderful husband, Michael Archard. In the year 2021, we established a business called “Angkor Place Inc.” aka “Angkor PlaceJax”, a future business entity that will provide a venue for all types of events and community gatherings.

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in the healthcare industry with work experience and background in international and domestic payroll. Since year 2010, my professional affiliations as a community leader and liaison includes, Community Outreach for the Cambodian American Buddhist of Jacksonville, Past President of Night of Asia, Past Board member of Mayor Asian American Advisory Board, and Past member of Asian American Federation of FL.

I look forward to continuing making connections with the Asian-American communities and local businesses within the city of Jacksonville, FL.
