Christy Bremer

Creative Arts and Design Chair

I am Christy Bremer, better known as Christybomb, a visual artist based out Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The "Christybomb" moniker was given to me by friends because of the energy and vivaciousness embodied within my art. My unconventional art practice and style stems from a marriage of my research scientist background along with both self-taught art and formal MFA training in Manhattan, NYC. A central theme in my work is the joyful elevation of the everyday along with elements of emotional connection and deep nostalgia.

I have shown in major art fairs, international exhibitions and galleries, and American museums. I have completed large commissions for public spaces, and my work has been acquired by major private collections here and abroad, as well as a foreign museum. As someone who loves her tribe, I have collaborated with some of the most important and prolific contemporary artists of our time. I continue to exhibit my work regularly at a variety of venues.
