Sharleen Deary is an Air Force Veteran hailing from the island of Guam, where community and service are deeply ingrained. With over nine years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she is a dedicated advocate for the military and veteran community. Specializing in community outreach, marketing, and program development, Sharleen has a proven track record of creating impactful initiatives that foster connection and support for those in need.
Her career is driven by a passion for advocating for veterans, utilizing strategic planning and collaboration to create meaningful change. Sharleen is committed to promoting growth, inclusion, and empowerment, and her work continues to inspire others to get involved and make a difference.
Beyond her advocacy for veterans, Sharleen is a passionate supporter of the Asian community. Actively engaged with the Cambodian community through the Wat Kanteyaram Buddhist Temple, she is working to develop a nonprofit that will serve underserved Asian populations. In her role as a healthcare specialist with Life Solutions Partners, she educates individuals about health insurance options and helps them find the right solutions.

Currently, Sharleen serves as the Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for Northeast Florida Women Veterans and the Treasurer for Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, where she continues her lifelong dedication to service and community empowerment. In her free time, Sharleen enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and practicing music on her keyboard and acoustic guitar.
